One will recall that it was during the passover celebration of the israelites that led to the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus Christ of Nazareth which led to Easter Festival celebration to mourn his death from the hands of the pharisees and celebrate the shed of his blood on the Cross and resurrection from death.
